Short Version of Privacy Policy
Information We Collect. Euome collects limited personal information necessary to operate the Platform, including information provided through Google Authentication, academic and service-related details, transaction and delivery information, and certain technical and usage data collected automatically to ensure functionality, security, and service improvement.
Our Legal Basis for Using Your Personal Information. Personal information is processed based on lawful grounds under Indian law, including user consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and Euome’s legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Platform.
How We Use the Information Collected. Euome uses personal information to deliver services, manage accounts and security, process payments, provide customer support, ensure legal compliance, and improve platform performance through aggregated analytics.
Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties. Personal information is shared only in limited circumstances, such as with tutors and service providers to fulfill requests, payment processors to complete transactions, authorized internal personnel, or government authorities when legally required. Euome does not sell or use personal data for advertising.
Cookies. Euome uses only essential first-party session cookies to enable login functionality and core platform operations. No advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking technologies are used.
Do Not Track. Because Euome does not engage in cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising, browser-based “Do Not Track” signals do not affect how information is collected or processed.
External Links. The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not controlled by Euome. Any information shared with such third parties is governed by their own privacy policies and not by this Policy.
How Long We Retain Personal Information. Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill service purposes, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
Updating or Deleting Personal Information. Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, subject to identity verification and applicable legal requirements.
Your Privacy Rights. Users have rights including access, rectification, erasure, withdrawal of consent, and objection to certain processing activities. Grievances may be raised with Euome’s designated officer and are addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

Information We Collect
We collect personal information in a transparent manner and only to the extent necessary to operate the Platform, provide our services, process transactions, ensure secure delivery, comply with applicable laws, and protect the integrity and security of Euome. The categories of information we collect depend on how you interact with the Platform and the services you choose to use.
Information You Provide to Us
When you register for or use the Platform, you may provide certain personal information directly to us. Account creation and access to the Platform are performed exclusively through Google Authentication. When you sign in using Google, we receive limited profile information made available by Google, such as your name, email address, unique Google account identifier, and profile photograph (if available). Euome does not collect, store, or have access to your Google password or any other login credentials, as authentication is handled entirely through Google’s OAuth service.
When you choose to use services offered through the Platform, you may voluntarily provide additional information necessary to fulfill those services. This may include academic details such as your degree program, current course, subject information, project or assignment requirements, specifications, and timelines. Where applicable, you may also provide faculty or department details for academic coordination purposes.
For marketplace or service-related transactions, we may collect transaction-related information such as order identifiers, service or product details, payment status, timestamps, and confirmation records. Where physical delivery is required, we collect delivery-related information limited to campus-specific details, such as hostel name, block, room number, or other delivery instructions within the Lovely Professional University campus. Euome does not collect or store debit card numbers, credit card numbers, UPI credentials, or banking information, as all payments are processed securely through a third-party payment gateway.
For online courses, live tutoring sessions, webinars, or proctored examinations, we may request access to your device’s camera and microphone. Such access is requested with your explicit consent and is limited strictly to the duration of the relevant session. Any audio or video recordings created for quality assurance or dispute resolution purposes are stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel. We do not extract, analyze, or store biometric information from any audio or visual content.
Information We Receive from Third Parties
Euome receives limited information from third parties only where necessary to operate the Platform. Specifically, when you choose to sign in using Google Authentication, we receive basic account information from Google in accordance with your Google account privacy settings and authorizations. This information is used solely for authentication and account management purposes.
We may also receive limited transaction status information from our payment processing partner for the purpose of confirming payments, handling refunds, resolving disputes, and maintaining accurate financial records. Euome does not receive or store sensitive financial details such as card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials.
We do not receive personal data from advertising partners, data brokers, enriching providers, or marketing networks, and we do not collect information from publicly available sources for profiling or targeted advertising purposes.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you access or use the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical and usage-related information to ensure functionality, security, and continuous improvement of our services. This information may include your device type, operating system, browser or application version, IP address, session duration, error logs, performance metrics, and usage activity such as pages viewed, features accessed, or actions performed within the Platform.
Our website uses first-party session cookies that are required solely to manage logged-in sessions and core site functionality. Our mobile application uses secure token-based authentication for the same purpose. Usage data is processed in aggregate form and is used internally for diagnostic, security, and performance optimization purposes only.
We strive to remain transparent about the information we collect, the reasons for collecting it, and how it is used. We collect only the information that is necessary to provide our services, process transactions, manage deliveries, maintain platform security, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Our Legal Basis for Using Your Personal Information
Where applicable under Indian law and other relevant data protection regulations, our processing of your personal information is supported by one or more lawful grounds. Depending on the context and purpose of processing, Euome relies on the following legal bases:
- Consent: where you have voluntarily provided your personal information or agreed to specific processing activities, such as participating in online sessions, recordings, or optional services;
- Performance of a contract: where processing is necessary to provide services requested by you, including academic support services, course access, marketplace transactions, and related communications;
- Legal obligations: where processing is required to comply with applicable Indian laws, lawful requests by public authorities, or regulatory requirements; and
- Legitimate interests: where processing is necessary for the operation, security, improvement, and integrity of the Platform, provided such processing does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.
How We Use the Information Collected
We use personal information collected through the Platform for the following purposes:
- Service delivery and platform operation: to operate Euome’s features and provide requested services, including matching tutors or course providers with relevant academic subjects, processing course enrollments, facilitating freelancing and academic support services, and sharing delivery details with couriers to fulfill campus-based orders. We also use contact information to send service-related communications such as confirmations, updates, alerts, and messages related to ongoing services.
- Account management and security: to authenticate users through Google Authentication, manage secure login sessions using session cookies (for the website) and tokens (for the mobile application), and maintain account integrity without collecting or storing user passwords. We also use personal information to protect against unauthorized access and apply reasonable security practices to safeguard user data.
- Customer support and quality assurance: to respond to inquiries, provide support, and improve service quality. This may include recording online sessions or support communications for quality assurance, training, and dispute resolution purposes. Such recordings are treated as confidential, accessed only by authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, and retained only for as long as necessary.
- Payment processing: to facilitate transactions for courses, services, or campus essentials through our payment processing partner. We share only the minimum transaction-related information required to complete payments, such as your name, email address, and transaction amount. Euome does not collect or store payment card or banking details.
- Legal compliance and safety: to comply with legal and regulatory obligations under Indian law, respond to lawful requests from authorities, protect the rights and safety of users, and prevent misuse of the Platform. Where required, information may be disclosed only to the extent legally mandated.
- Platform improvement and analytics: to analyze aggregated and anonymized usage data in order to monitor performance, diagnose technical issues, improve functionality, and plan new features.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share personal data only with service providers or parties as described above, where necessary to deliver services, comply with legal obligations, or where you have provided explicit consent. If we intend to use personal information for a purpose that is materially different from those described in this Policy, we will seek your consent where required by law.
Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties
We share personal information only in limited circumstances and solely to the extent necessary to operate the Platform, provide requested services, comply with legal obligations, and protect the rights and security of Euome and its users. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not disclose personal data for advertising or tracking purposes.
Personal information may be shared with third parties in the following situations:
- With service providers: We engage trusted third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as data hosting, customer support, and technical maintenance. These service providers are contractually obligated to handle personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
- With payment processing partners: For the purpose of processing payments, we share limited transaction-related information with our payment gateway provider, Razorpay. This may include details such as your name, email address, transaction amount, and payment status. Razorpay may further share information with banks or regulatory authorities as required by law. Euome does not receive or store payment card details, and transaction data is not sold or used for advertising purposes.
- With internal personnel: Access to personal information is restricted to authorized Euome personnel, including management and support staff, who require such access to operate the Platform. All personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations and are permitted to access personal data only on a need-to-know basis.
- For legal and regulatory reasons: We may disclose personal information to government authorities, law enforcement agencies, or courts where required by law. Where required under applicable rules, including the SPDI Rules, we obtain user consent before sharing sensitive personal data with third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party tracking technologies. Our only external integrations are Google, used solely for user authentication, and Razorpay, used solely for payment processing. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy, and we do not embed third-party analytics scripts or advertising pixels on the Platform.
Cookies
Euome uses cookies and similar technologies strictly to ensure the proper functioning, security, and usability of the Platform. We employ only essential first-party session cookies that are required to manage user authentication, maintain logged-in sessions, and enable core site and application functionality. These cookies are temporary in nature and expire automatically when you log out or close your browser.
We do not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, cross-site tracking, remarketing, behavioral profiling, or marketing purposes. Euome does not embed third-party tracking pixels, analytics cookies, or advertising scripts, and we do not allow external parties to track users across websites or services through our Platform. As such, cookie usage on Euome is limited to what is strictly necessary to operate the Platform securely and efficiently. You can learn more about how to manage cookies in your browser by visiting AboutCookies.org.
Do Not Track
Some web browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that allows users to signal their preference regarding tracking across websites. As Euome does not engage in cross-site tracking, behavioral advertising, or third-party analytics, browser-based Do Not Track signals do not materially alter how we collect or process information. Our use of essential session cookies is required for basic Platform functionality and cannot be disabled through DNT settings.
External Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not operated or controlled by Euome. If you choose to access any third-party links through the Platform, please note that any personal information you provide to such third parties, and any use of that information by them, is governed by their own privacy policies and terms, and not by this Privacy Policy. Euome does not have control over, and is not responsible for, the content, privacy practices, or data handling procedures of third-party websites or services.
This Privacy Policy applies solely to personal information collected through the Euome Platform. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of use of any third-party site or service you visit before providing any personal information. Euome does not review, endorse, or make any representations regarding the adequacy of the privacy practices of third parties, and your interactions with such third parties are at your own risk.
How Long We Retain Personal Information
We retain personal information only for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law. The duration for which personal information is retained may vary depending on the nature of the information, the purpose of processing, and applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
In certain circumstances, we may retain personal information for longer periods, including:
- where it is necessary and relevant for the operation of the Platform, such as maintaining accurate records of transactions, services, or communications in the event of complaints, disputes, or inquiries;
- where retention is required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations applicable under Indian law;
- where personal information relates to closed or inactive accounts and is necessary to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Euome and its users; and
- where retention is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to preserve evidence within applicable limitation periods.
Once personal information is no longer required for the purposes described above, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it is securely deleted, anonymized, or otherwise rendered inaccessible, in accordance with our data retention practices and reasonable security safeguards.
Updating or Deleting Personal Information
Subject to applicable laws, you may have certain rights and choices in relation to your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data under specific circumstances. If you wish to update or delete personal information associated with your Euome account, you may submit a request by contacting us through our official online support channels or by emailing us at privacy@euome.com. Where available, you may update certain information directly through your account settings. If you believe that any personal information we hold about you is incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate, you may notify us, and we will investigate the matter and take appropriate steps to correct or update the information without undue delay, unless we are required to retain such information for legitimate business, regulatory, or legal purposes.
In order to protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized actions, we may require you to verify your identity before processing any request to update or delete personal information. Where deletion is requested, we will cease processing the relevant data and securely delete or anonymize it, unless retention is required under applicable law or for lawful business purposes, such as compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Our security framework includes administrative, technical, and operational controls intended to preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information processed through the Platform, and to ensure that personal data is handled only for lawful and legitimate purposes.
All data transmissions between users and the Platform are secured using industry-standard encryption technologies such as HTTPS/TLS to reduce the risk of interception or unauthorized access during transmission. Personal information is stored on secure servers protected by access control mechanisms, and access is strictly limited to authorized personnel who require such access for legitimate operational, support, or compliance-related purposes. We regularly review, monitor, and assess our systems, infrastructure, and internal processes to identify potential vulnerabilities, maintain data security, and ensure continued alignment with reasonable security practices under Indian law.
While we take appropriate and commercially reasonable steps to protect personal information, you acknowledge that the transmission of data over the internet is not completely secure and that no method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security. Accordingly, although we strive to exceed standard security practices, we cannot guarantee the complete security of data transmitted to the Platform.
